Fiber

Fiber is a puzzle game about light.

Every level is a chamber with a source and a target. Drag mirrors in, turn them, and bend the beam until it connects. Then the chamber starts fighting back.

52 levels in 16 chapters

Each chapter brings one new idea and builds a real puzzle on it:

• Mirrors and 22.5° angles for diagonal beams
• One-way portals through walls
• Splitters that send light two ways, and couplers that add it back up
• Patch cords that jump the beam over walls
• Sensors that open gates, and switches that slide walls and explosives out of the way
• Proximity mines that heat up when light passes close, and keep-alive bombs that need light on them all the time
• Explosives that patrol their tracks
• Live edges: no walls, and a chamber whose edges go off if light touches them
• Dark chambers where only the light shows the way
• Prisms, colour filters and coloured glass
• A swarm of nano bots, and a final boss you have to burn down in its own colour

Every piece counts

Nearly every level hands you exactly the pieces it needs, with none to spare. Win with three bars to light the whole signal. When the campaign is done, endless mode keeps generating new chambers, each one checked to be solvable.

Windows: the build isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info → Run anyway.
Linux: unzip, then run ./fiber --no-sandbox.
